Pisces Full Moon Lunar Eclipse

Eclipse season is here again!

What are you noticing? When powerful energy is underfoot it’s best to listen inward to notice what’s stirring in you, otherwise you’ll find yourself reacting rather than attuning. Attuning requires slowing down, perhaps following your breath in, and deepening into connection with yourself.

You’re likely to notice shadow aspects under a full moon, especially a full moon in Pisces. Shadows can feel unpleasant for sure (usually arising in a reactive way). Yet if you have the wherewithal to bring curiosity to these places in yourself, this is a powerful time to see your shadow aspects more clearly, opening to their depth and complexity, perhaps beginning to see the yet unhealed parts of self they bring into awareness.

Full moons are key times for releasing what’s ready to be released while new moons give way to nourishing the new that’s ready to grow. These lunations take place monthly, guiding us through a monthly rhythm of release, renewal and begin again.

Eclipses have their own rhythm, generally arriving about 6 months apart, with Full and new moon pairs. Their energy generally carries us through the 6 months to the next eclipse. On an even bigger scale, eclipse energies are synced with the nodes of the moon, changing every 18 months gently guiding our collective soul trajectory.

Take note of new insights that arise in your inner psyche inviting a deepening of awareness into Virgo-Pisces and Aries-Libra themes. Now, and in the coming months notice how these energies challenge, compliment and support each other.

We’ve been under the influence of the Aries-Libra axis since 7/23. These energies have been schooling us in deepening our understanding of self and other, how we relate to self and how that impacts the harmony of our relationships with yourself and others. They’ll continue to offer us refinement on these lessons through 1/25 when the nodes will switch to the Virgo-Pisces axis.

We’re getting a taste of what’s to come this week as we swim in the energies of this Pisces full moon opposite the sun in Virgo —Axis of service and dreams.

We can imagine how the work we’ve done with the Aries-Libra energies have nourished and prepared us for the awakening that’s already underway as we approach and enter into this new axis of energy, with tonight’s lunar eclipse (9/17).

What do we need to let go of and move towards in order to be in right relationship with ourselves to bring greater harmony to our relations and relationships? And what dreams do we need to awaken and learn to harness in order to be of service to the earth and her inhabitants?
