Transcending What Ails You: Part 1
Do you have some difficulties in your life you would love to transcend? To simply break out of the old pattern and be done with it? What do you suppose is stopping you? (Hint: Pay attention to your thoughts).
Consider these phrases …
1) The obstacles are only in your mind.
2) Life isn’t happening to you, life is responding to you.
3) You are creating your own reality.
What do these three phrases have in common? The last two statements assume that we are powerful beings, and as such we are the central point and the centrifugal force of our life’s events. The first statement asserts that the obstacles we encounter in our lives are created in our own minds. I’m going to assume that if you’re reading our blog, you are familiar with these three proverbial truths, and that you can relate to some sense of truth in them. I’ll go out on a limb and suggest that many of you would say you resonate with these statements - that is to say, you feel the inherent truth in them, there’s a strong fit with your inner knowing! This is a good thing, as this is the way we begin to transcend! In order to transcend our stuck places, we’ve got to avoid the old mental routes full of limiting beliefs. Instead, we begin to walk through the gateway of faith, guided by our sense of inner knowing and deep inner feeling.
Pay attention to your inner cues. We are energetic beings born into bodies (energetic, but of a denser nature) which never stop changing from the moment we take our first breath! As you focus your attention within, particularly on your breath, you begin to feel the flow of the energy that you are! This is a great feeling of aliveness, as well as an opportunity to better know yourself … to begin to tune in to your essence. The more we listen to ourselves at the essence level, the better we become at bypassing the thinking mind for this expansive knowing. This essence part of ourselves is connected to All That Is, including Spirit, spirit guides, and angels along with our own Higher Self who is always present and guiding, and we are learning to listen. Listening in deeply, at the essence level is key. As we listen here, at this deeper level, we begin to grow and respond to our gifts of spirit including our “Clairs” - clairvoyance (inner seeing), clairaudience (inner hearing), Claircognizance (inner knowing) and clairsentience (inner feeling). These may sound fancy, but we all have aspects of them that we’re very familiar with, and we all have the option of developing these gifts further if we so choose.
